The Pro Players Foundation mission is to enrich the lives of children in need across North Texas.
Instant Replay creates safe places for youth in the community by building new playgrounds, courts and sports facilities at partnering community centers, which help increase enrollment in these centers educational and mentoring programs. In 2019, PPF provided four (4) different nonprofit community centers projects including: a new playground at Mi Escuelita Bernal Campus and the Salvation Army of Dallas; a new basketball gym at the Waxahachie YMCA; and a referbished common room at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County Panther Branch. The 2019 Instant Replay program was supported by 233.50 volunteer hours, and a total program value of $241,891.31 benefiting disadvantaged kids across North Texas. The new play spaces serve an estimated 460 unique kids, and are utilized more than 152,500 times annually.
Big Bike Build is a program which promotes the physical and mental development of youth through the donation of bikes, built by our corporate partners and community supporters. Through Big Bike Build, we have partnered with eight (8) different corporate partners to build and gift 700 bikes to beneficiary organizations: Mi Escuelita and Child Care Associates. The 2019 Big Bike Build program was supported by 743.75 volunteer hours, and a total program value of $57,894 benefiting disadvantaged kids across North Texas. The new bikes served 700 unique kids.
Gameplan is a program that focuses on STEAM education opportunities designed to positively impact disadvantaged populations providing access to technology and education programs which would otherwise be unavailable. Through Gameplan, we build and renovate technology and learning labs, implement STEAM based software, and create Makerspaces at our nonprofit partner locations. In 2019, PPF provided one STEAM Makerspace to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Tarrant County Panther Branch. The 2019 Gameplan program was supported by 30 volunteer hours, $5,000 of in-kind contributions, and a total program value of $20,665.74 benefiting disadvantaged kids across North Texas. The new play spaces serve an estimated 75 unique kids, and are utilized more than 18,000 times annually.
