The mission of New Living Israel is to share the vision of Living Israel, develop ministry partners, and raise resources, from individuals, churches, and other organizations in the USA to sustain and enhance the ministry of Living Israel so that unbelievers are reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Living Israel headquarters is located in Haifa, Israel. Gifts to New Living Israel are sent to help with expenses of several ministries. A detox room for men & women. An average of 3-5 men & 1-2 women use the room each week. 13 to 15 students live at the headquarters, and attend classes daily. They also work in the varies ministries. An average of 15 homeless families are provided temporary housing. The families of the five key members of the leadership team also live at the headquarters. These gifts offset a part of the expenses to operate the headquarters.
Gifts to New Living Israel are sent to help with expenses of 9 rehabilitation homes of Living Israel which are located all over Israel. A new resident of a rehabilitation home is allowed to stay at no cost for the first 30 days. The resident must find a job and help pay for part of the housing and food cost. Because of Covid 19, Israel was lock down for several months this spring and summer and none of the residences were able to work. This food expenses which is typically paid from resident's funds was funded by special gifts through New Living Israel this year.
Gifts to New Living Israel are sent to help with expenses help for services to the homeless and Holocaust survivors. Living Israel operates a soup kitchen in Tel Aviv for the homeless who often are drug addicts or alcoholics. More than 1,000 meals are fed every month. Free second hand clothing is given out. This ministry result in 4 to 6 people asking to enter the Detox rooms at the headquarters of Living Israel in Haifa. Once detox is complete many will move to a rehab home. Also there are 200 plus Holocaust survivors. Most of these men and women were children in the death camps in Europe. Living Israel provide a monthly program and a $10 to $15 gift card to be used for food or toiletries.
