Assist in Surgical Fees for the under- and un-insured, arrange for partnering surgery centers and surgeons to perform the surgeries
We arranged and our volunteer surgeons performed 2 separate surgeries during 2019. We continue to work to put patients in need together with the facilities and surgeons who support our program. Nine separate surgeons have volunteered to participate in our program and we anticipate the program will grow to a larger scale in 2020. Our Elective Surgeries have been performed at Chi St. Lukes Medical Center in Sugar Land, TX and at Altus Houston, Houston, TX. There are patient testimonials that can be seen on our website, www.pbfusa.org. The two patients who received surgery in 2019 were self-referrals after having seen our PBF television interview.
