Lovepacs engages communities to feed children in need as an expression of love.
The Lovepacs single program's purpose is to help mitigate the negative impact that inadequate nutrition has on the health and well-being of children and their ability to learn by providing nutritionally balanced, child- friendly food items on the extended breaks when school is not in session and they are unable to access school provided meals. Extended breaks include summers, Holidays, Spring Break and extended school closures during the Covid-19 outbreak. Food is sent home in marked boxes during the break to provide nurishment for the extended break. During the 2019-2020 school year, Lovepacs served over 848,000 meals to over 6,280 children in 176 public schools in the state of Texas during the school year and summer.
