Pothawira International is a 501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to helping individuals in developing countries achieve their full potential by providing access to quality healthcare, education and economic opportunity. We support organizations that provide comprehensive, accessible and affordable healthcare (with a focus on women and children), education and training to break the cycle of poverty, and economic sustainability programs to support communities, families and individuals.

Our primary focus is Malawi, Africa working in conjunction with Pothawira (Safe Haven) Christian Mission Organisation, a registered Malawi NGO. We supported the operation of an orphan community with 126 children, a medical clinic that sees 100-300 patients a day, and a primary school will 300 students. We also supported two individuals from the orphanage studying in the United States on F-1 visas. Our funding sources for this work include general donations from the public and grants from foundations.
