Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of Leadership Tyler is to equip leaders to enrich our community.
Leadership Tyler runs a nine-month program which includes two retreats and monthly, day-long sessions which focus on community issues as well as incorporating a leadership training component. Class members that complete the program have a solid understanding of the concepts of community trusteeship, stewardship, servant leadership, integrity ethics, local economics and value diversity. The 2019-2020 class had 37 members, who were presented at the Leadership Live luncheon. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the final two sessions of Class 33s experience were postponed, but they were given additional training opportunities virtually and small group networking opportunities as determined safe. They were also included in all alumni opportunities as of April 1, 2020.
ALUMNI COUNCIL PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH CONTINUING EDUCATION AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES IN THE COMMUNITY. There are over 900 alumni of ourprograms.
The Catalyst 100 program is a mentorship program that pairs members in mentoring relationships and offers quarterly sessions on current and informative topics relative to our community. There were approximately 100 members this year. The program's purpose is to further equip and develop community leaders in the Tyler area by providing forums for networking, mentoring and discussion of current community issues.
