LEGAL SERVICES FOR IMMIGRANT SURVIVORS OF CRIME 3. SUPPORT FOR AN OUTREACH PROGRAM FOR PREVENTATIVE CARE OF PETS 4. EXPANDING CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM 5. PURCHASE AND RENOVATION OF A NEW FACILITY 6. DEVELOPING CAPACITY WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION 7. ENGAGEMENT WITH PROPERTY OWNERS TO SPLIT RENOVATION COSTS FOR THE FACADES OF THEIR BUILDINGS WITHIN EMERGENT DISTRICTS 8. SUPPORT FOR DUES OF THE FORWARD CITIES MEMBERSHIP 9. REPLACEMENT OF APPLIANCES 10. NEW PARKING LOT 11. SUPPORT FOR STAFFING 12. REPLACEMENT OF ROOF 13. YEAR 3 OF THE RACE EQUITY INITIATIVE 14. REPLACEMENT OF TECHNOLOGY

ANOTHER FOCUS AREA FOR THE FOUNDATION IS ARTS, CULTURE, AND RECREATION. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, THE FOUNDATION MADE GRANTS FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: 1. PURCHASE OF A BUILDING THAT WILL PROVIDE SPACE AND INFRASTRUCTURE 2. SUPPORT OF AN ART PRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 3. ANIMAL SCULPTURE FOR THE ZOO 4. UPGRADES TO RENTAL EQUIPMENT AND SPACE 5. REPLACEMENT OF SIMULATOR AND NEW SEATING FOR EVENTS 6. SUPPORT FOR THE DORRIS MILLER MEMORIAL 7. SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN TO INCREASE AUDIENCE AND ENGAGEMENT.

ANOTHER FOCUS AREA FOR THE FOUNDATION IS EDUCATION. DURING THE FISCAL YEAR, THE FOUNDATION MADE GRANTS FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES: 1. SUPPORT FOR A SUMMER PROGRAM WITH THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING NUMERICAL FLUENCY FOR CHILDREN AGES 4-6 2. PROVIDING DUES FOR THE TEXAS EDUCATION GRANTMAKERS ADVOCACY CONSORTIUM 3. ADDITION OF INSTRUCTION RESOURCES AND SUPPORT FOR THE MELA PROGRAM 4. ESTABLISHING A PROGRAM ENCOURAGING PARENT PARTICIPATION 5. PURCHASE OF BACKPACKS
