Break the Silence against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) does education and outreach through social media, a crisis helpline, and utilizes a Speakers Bureau. Survivors in need are served by trained advocates providing support and care anonymously through Facebook or the helpline. The Speakers Bureau offers education and outreach to youth as well as health care professionals, military and law enforcement, and social workers, offering information on the complete scope of domestic violence.
Scholarships through Break the Silence against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) are made in honor of individuals that lost their lives to domestic violence. Scholarship recipients must be impacted by domestic violence to be eligible to receive a scholarship.
Break the Silence against Domestic Violence (BTSADV) hosts two annual retreats to serve victims, survivors, and their families: The Survivor Sister Retreat and the Angel Family Retreat. Both retreats are held annually and promote healing, personal development, and emphasize the importance of self-care strategies. They create a peer-group environment that encourages growth through accountability.
