The San Juan Jr. Livestock program is a non-profit institution of the people and is concerned primarily with the development of youth in areas of leadership and responsibility.
The purpose of the auction is to stimulate interest among livestock breeders and members of 4-H and FFA clubs in feeding and breeding better livestock. The purpose of the sale is to furnish interested youth a medium through which they may display and sell their animals, giving the public a better appreciation of the value and quality of livestock raised by our youth. We had 160 kids participate with over 140 buyers/donors.
