THE MISSION OF THE BOUNTIFUL COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY (BCFP) IS TO RELIEVE HUNGER AND INCREASE SELF-SUFFICIENCY OF INDIVIDUALS IN NEED LIVING IN DAVIS COUNTY, UTAH.
For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2020, The Bountiful Community Food Pantry served 10,762 households, or 39,226 individuals, through our market. We gave out 111,489 weekend food Pantry Packs to over 60 schools through our No Hunger Zone partnership with the Davis School District, and supported 4 in-school pantries. We distributed 2,046,604 pounds of food, which is equivalent to 1.7 million meals; 64% went out through our pantry, 12% through the No Hunger Zone, and 24% was shared with other community partners. We provided comprehensive dental care for 106 individuals through our Pantry Smiles program in partnership with Davis Technical College and local dentist/hygienists. Our amazing community provided 25,190 volunteer hours, which is equivalent to 12 full-time employees.
