TO END CHILD SLAVERY THROUGH EDUCATIONAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN WEST AFRICA.
WELL AFRICA MICROFINANCES ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL CITIZENS IN AFRICA. IN 2020, THERE WERE OVER 50 ENTREPRENEURIAL PARTICIPANTS: 14 BUSINESSES LAUNCHED, 10 REMAIN OPERATIONAL, AND OF THOSE, 7 ARE CURRENTLY PROFITABLE AND REPAYING THEIR DEBT.
WELL AFRICA IS BUILDING A HIGH SCHOOL IN AFRICA. THE SCHOOL WILL CONTAIN 12 CLASSROOMS, A COMPUTER LAB, LIBRARY,SPORTING FACILITY, DORMITORY FOR ORPHANS AND ABANDONED CHILDREN, AND AN ADMNISTRATIVE BUILDING. THE HIGH SCHOOL HAS CAPACITY TO SPONSOR 900 STUDENTS' EDUCATION.
WELL AFRICA SPONSORS LOCAL SOCIAL INTITIATIVES TO HELP BUILD THE COMMUNITY IN ABIDJAN, IVORY COAST. FUNDS WERE USED TO HELP RENOVATE AN ORPHANAGE WHICH HOUSES 50 ORPHANS. PLUMBING, ELECTRICITY, AND MASONRY WORK WERE COMPLETED ON THE ORPHANAGE.
