Organizations Filed Purposes:
Provide and promote the community of Ogden with live traditional and contemporary acoustic/Americana music. Provide education musical opportunities for all, with a focus on youth. Attract visitors from outside the region to help develop Weber County and Ogden's destinations for arts.
Ogden Music Festival: 12th Annual 3-day outdoor festival May 30 - Jun 2, 2019 at Fort Buenaventura with on-site camping featuring outstanding local, regional, national and international artists in the genres of bluegrass, folk, Americana, rockabilly, and old time country featuring a diversity that appeals to all ages. The events are accessible to families with reasonable admission rates and free admission to 18 and under. OFOAM offers educational musical opportunities in the form of hands-on instrument opportunities and educational workshops. OFOAM is host to nationally sanctioned Utah State Instrument Championships in finger style guitar, flat pick guitar, banjo, fiddle, and mandolin. In association, a free-to-the public outreach concert at Ogden Downtown Amphitheater June 3, 2019 featuring a headliner from the festival was presented.
3rd Annual SnOwFOAM evening concert and school outreach performance featuring Booker T. Jones Jan 18, 2019 @ Peery's Egyptian Theatre. By reaching out to high school and junior high school music students with educationsl outreach perfomances we help to fulfill our mission to influence youth to pick up and play traditional musical instruments.
