THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE PLUMBING INDUSTRY AND HELPS BRAND THE SERVICES THE PLUMBING CONTRACTORS PROVIDE. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO ENCOURAGES YOUTH TO CONSIDER THE PLUMBING TRADE AS AN OPTION.
THE ASSOCIATION WORKS TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE THE PLUMBING INDUSTRY AND HELPS BRAND THE SERVICES THE PLUMBING CONTRACTORS PROVIDE. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO ENCOURAGES YOUTH TO CONSIDER THE PLUMBING TRADE AS AN OPTION. UPHCA ALSO HELPS MEMBERS WITH SAFETY SERVICES AND MATERIALS TO ENCOURAGE SAFE WORK PRACTICES. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES FOROUR MEMBERS AND THE PLUMBING INDUSTRY AT LARGE. THE UPHCA WORKS HARD TO FOSTER ETHICAL WORK PRACTICES AND HELPS PROVIDE RESOURCES THAT HELPS MEMBERS WITH THEIR BUSINESS OPERATIONS.
WE PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FOR MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION AND FOR ALL PLUMBERS AND PLUMBING CONTRACTORS IN THE STATE OF UTAH. EVERY PLUMBER MUST HAVE 12 HOURS EVERY TWO YEARS TO RENEW THEIR LICENSE AND PLUMBING CONTRACTORS MUST ALSO HAVE 6 HOURS EVERY TWO YEARS TO RENEW THEIR CONTRACTOR LICENSE.
ANNUAL CONFERENCEWE PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR SUPPLIERS/VENDORS TO EXHIBIT THEIR PRODUCTS AND THIS PROVIDES THE UPHCA MEMBERS AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP A WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH COMPANIES THEY BUY PRODUCTS FOR. ANOTHER BENEFIT IS WE PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES FOR OUR MEMBERS TO KEEP THEM INFORMED OF CODE CHANGES AND HELP THEM EARN THEIR CE CREDIT TOWARDS RE-LICENSING REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH THE PLUMBING AND CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE.
ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT AND OTHER OUTREACH ACTIVITIESTHE PURPOSE OF THESE EVENTS IS TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO COME AND LEARN ABOUT THE UTAH PLUMBING AND HEATING CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION. THIS GIVES THE MEMBER A CHANCE TO MEET WITH PEOPLE THAT MAY BE INTERESTED IN GETTING INTO THE INDUSTRY. THE NET PROCEEDS GO TO HELP FUND OTHER TRAININGS AND CONFERENCES.
