As a non-profit public charity, our mission at TRUE Africa is to empower vulnerable African children by enhancing their educational conditions and opportunities through facilitating educational sponsorships, child welfare and school development through our core values of COOPERATION, SUSTAINABILITY, OPTIMISM and VOLUNTEERISM. We recognize that education, unlike any other resource, increases in value over time, is enhanced when everyone has access, and can never be lost or taken away.
Provide school fees, school uniforms & sweaters, school lunch, tuition/fees, exercise books & backpack, basic medical needs, regular social worker visits. Textbooks, computers, calculators, school boarding, and boarding cases are also provided based on class level.
Provide supplies for teachers, classrooms and schools; provide desks; construct school buildings and classrooms, including latrines, water systems and student and teacher dormitories.
Provide humanitarian care items, including beddings, clothing, shoes, food, goats, sanitary pads, family income projects, medical needs. Sponsors can provide needed care through humanitarian sponsorships. Graduation gifts can include career-related equipments.
