THE CHRISTIAN CENTER OF PARK CITY (CCPC) IS A CHRISTIAN, HUMANITARIAN COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER THAT HELPS IMPROVE THE LIVES OF PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH MEETING IMMEDIATE AND BASIC NEEDS, SERVING AS A LEADING NETWORKER OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES, OFFERING COUNSELING AND CARE SUPPORT, AND BY GIVING HOPE TO THOSE WE SERVE. FOCUSING PRIMARILY ON SUMMIT AND WASATCH COUNTIES, CCPC SEEKS TO MEET PEOPLE AT THEIR POINT OF NEED. CCPC IS A REGISTERED 501(C)3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION. WE DO NOT DISCRIMINATE NOR REQUIRE ANY RELIGIOUS AFFILIATION IN ORDER TO RECEIVE OUR SERVICES. WE PROVIDE SERVICES AND PROGRAMS TO ANYONE IN NEED REGARDLESS OF RACE, CREED, OR GENDER.
THE CHRISTIAN CENTER OF PARK CITY (CCPC) STARTED IN 2000 TO SERVE AS A COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION THAT SOUGHT TO MEET PEOPLE AT THEIR POINT OF NEED. OVER THE LAST 18 YEARS, THE CENTER HAS STARTED A MULTITUDE OF PROGRAMS, ENGAGING HUNDREDS OF VOLUNTEERS IN THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF SERVICE PROJECTS, AND HELPING COUNTLESS RESIDENTS SECURE THE RESOURCES THEY NEED TO SURVIVE. FOOD PANTRY: CCPC OPERATES THE LARGEST FOOD PANTRY IN SUMMIT AND WASATCH COUNTIES. DURING THE PAST YEAR, APPROXIMATELY 47,568 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE CENTER'S FOOD PANTRY AND 94 INDIVIDUALS RECEIVED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE FUNDS.
THRIFT STORES: CCPC OPERATES TWO THRIFT STORES AND A BOUTIQUE SHOP. THE STORES OFFER TREMENDOUS VALUES ON MENS AND WOMENS CLOTHING, HOUSEWARES AND SMALL APPLIANCES, FOOTWEAR, OUTERWEAR, AND SEASONAL EXERCISE EQUIPMENT. THEY RECEIVE DONATIONS OF FURNITURE, HOUSEHOLD ITEMS, AND CLOTHING WHERE THE MAJORITY IS GIVEN TO LOWER INCOME INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. THE REST IS SOLD TO FUND THIS AND OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES. APPROXIMATELY 31 PEOPLE RECEIVED CLOTHING ASSISTANCE DURING THE YEAR.
COUNSELING CENTER: CCPC'S COUNSELING CENTER PROVIDES A TEAM OF PASSIONATE, PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS DEDICATED TO HELPING INDIVIDUALS MOVE FROM THE STICKING POINTS IN LIFE AND LEARN MORE ABOUT THEMSELVES IN THE PROCESS. COUNSELORS HAVE A WIDE VARIETY OF SPECIALTIES RANGING FROM KIDS TO ADULTS IN BOTH ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
