MUSEUM: 129,269 VISITORS CAME TO THE PARK CITY MUSEUM IN 2019. THE TOZER GALLERY HOSTED THREE NATIONALLY TRAVELING EXHIBITIONS FROM EXHIBITS USA, SMITHSONIAN, AND NRG EXHIBITS COMPANY. APPROXIMATELY 1,310 LOCAL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE, SCHOOL STUDENTS, YOUTH GROUPS AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS PARTICIPATED IN FREE FIELD TRIPS. OVER 1,100 ATTENDED LECTURES, TOURS, HIKES AND PRESENTATIONS HELD IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE MUSEUM EXHIBITS. 1,885 LOCALS AND UTAHNS EXPLORED THE PARK CITY MUSEUM DURING SIX "FREE ADMISSION DAYS" HELD THROUGHOUT 2019. PRESERVATION: THE PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY HOLDS AN EXTENSIVE COLLECTION OF HISTORIC OBJECTS, PAPERS AND PHOTOGRAPHS. GENEALOGISTS, HISTORIC PROPERTY OWNERS, PLANNERS, ARCHITECTS, SCHOLARS, JOURNALISTS AND STUDENTS REQUESTED RESEARCH FROM THE HAL COMPTON RESEARCH LIBRARY LOCATED AT THE PARK CITY MUSEUM IN 2019. MORE THAN 300 LOCALS AND VISITORS JOINED US FOR THE 2019 ANNUAL HISTORIC HOME TOUR TO LEARN MORE ABOUT HISTORIC PRESERVATION OF PARK CITY'S HISTORIC NEIGHBORHOODS AND 499 PARTICIPATED IN A GUIDED TOUR OF HISTORIC MAIN STREET OR PARK AVENUE, LEARNING ABOUT OUR EFFORTS TO PRESERVE THE HISTORIC COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. THE PARK CITY HISTORICAL SOCIETY OWNS THE HISTORIC GLENWOOD CEMETERY AND ALLOCATES RESOURCES TO ENSURE ITS PRESERVATION FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS TO EXPLORE AND ENJOY. 158 LOCALS JOINED US FOR OUR ANNUAL GLENWOOD CEMETERY TOUR IN THE FALL. DEDICATED TO THE STABILIZATION AND PRESERVATION OF THE LAST REMAINING HISTORIC MINING STRUCTURES LOCATED ON THE MOUNTAINS SURROUNDING PARK CITY, IN 2019 WE STARTED THE STABILIZATION OF THE THAYNES CONVEYER, AND TWO SILVER KING WATER TANKS. IN 2019 WE PRESENTED A FINANCIAL BUDGET TO THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES IN NOVEMBER 2019 AT THE BOARD RETREAT WHICH WAS REVISED AND APPROVED AT JANUARY BOARD MEETING.
