THE ORGANIZATION INCREASED PROGRAMMING IN 2019, BRINGING VARIED STAKEHOLDERS TO THE TABLE TO DISCUSS CURRENT PUBLIC POLICY ISSUES INCLUDING: PROTECTING RELIGIOUS LIBERTY, MODERNIZING COPYRIGHT AND LICENSING LAWS, SAFEGUARDING AMERICAS CYBERSECURITY, AND ENCOURAGING CIVILITY AND RESPECT IN PUBLIC DISCOURSE. THE FOUNDATION ALSO LAUNCHED ONGOING PUBLIC POLICY PUBLICATIONS BASED ON THE DISCUSSION AND SUGGESTED OUTCOMES OF ITS SYMPOSIA. THE CURATION OF THE HATCH PAPERS ENTERED THE PLANNING PHASE WITH DISCUSSIONS UNDERWAY TO DETERMINE SCOPE, COST, AND VENDORS AHEAD OF THE PHYSICAL CURATION TO BEGIN IN EARNEST IN 2020/2021. EDUCATION OUTREACH CONTINUED TO BE A TOP PRIORITY WITH EVENTS HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF UTAH, BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY, AND UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY.
