GEORGE, UT; THE PARIA CONTACT STATION NEAR THE VERMILION CLIFFS NATIONAL MONUMENT (DASIA CEASED OPERATIONS EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 15, 2018, BUT THERE WAS SOME ACTIVITY IN 2019), AND THE PINE VALLEY, UT HERITAGE CENTER. GEORGE FIELD OFFICE BY PROVIDING PUBLIC INFORMATION, EDUCATION, INTERPRETATION AND OUTREACH SERVICES FOCUSED ON AIDING PUBLIC LAND USERS UNDERSTAND AND HELP ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVES OF APPLICABLE RESOURCE MANAGEMENT PLANS AND NATIONAL LANDSCAPE CONSERVATION SYSTEM UNIT OBJECTIVES. MORE THAN 35,000 WAS CLAIMED TO COVER COSTS OF FACILITATING A POPULAR LECTURE SERIES FOCUSED ON THE NATURAL AND CULTURAL RESOURCES OF THE REGION, AND OPERATING A RETAIL SALES OUTLET THAT GENERATED MORE THAN 37,000 IN SALES.

THE SEASONAL INFORMATION AND RETAIL SALES OUTLET GENERATED MORE THAN 100 IN SALES. DASIA TURNED OPERATIONS OF THIS FACILITY OVER TO GLEN CANYON CONSERVANCY AFTER NOVEMBER 15, 2018, BUT THERE WAS SOME ACTIVITY IN 2019.
