Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE ORLEANS COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION (OCFA), FOUNDED IN 1867, IN BARTON, VERMONT, WAS FORMED OF LOCAL FARMERS AND BUSINESSMAN WHO WANTED TO BRING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER TO SOCIALIZE AND CELEBRATE AT AN ANNUAL COUNTY FAIR. THE FAIR IS NOW HELD EACH YEAR IN AUGUST. THE OCFA CONTINUES TO EMBRACE AGRICULTURAL HISTORY AND HAS GROWN TO MEET THE 21ST CENTRY WITH EVENTS THAT APPEAL TO ALL AGES. WITH THE CONTINUED SUPPORT OF OUT COMMUNITY, STATE, AND THE MANY VISITORS, OCFA INTENDS TO PROVIDE A MEETING PLACE FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF EVENTS THAT WILL KEEP PEOPLE COMING BACK TO THE ORLEANS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS FOR YEARS TO COME.

4TH OF JULY EVENT. THE ORLEANS COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION (OCFA) CELEBRATES JULY 4TH WITH AN ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL, HORSE PULLING, AND GYMKHANA. LOCAL MILITARY VETERANS ARE INVITED TO OPEN THE DAY WITH A PROPER FLAG RAISING CEREMONY IN ORDER TO SHOW THEM OUR HONOR AND RESPECT AS WELL AS OUR COUNTRY. THE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATES IN THE 4TH OF JULY PARADE THAT ENDS AT THE FAIRGROUNDS FOR THE OCFA ANNUAL CHICKEN BARBEQUE. THE OCFA PROVIDES GAMES FOR ALL AGES.
MEMORIAL DAY EVENT. THE ORLEANS COUNTY FAIR ASSOCIATION (OCFA) WITH AN ANTIQUE TRACTOR PULL, HORSE PULLING, AND GYMKHANA. LOCAL MILITARY VETERANS OPEN THE DAY WITH A PROPER FLAG RAISING CEREMONY TO DEMONSTRATE OUR HONOR AND RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY. THIS EVENT CELEBRATES THE END OF WINTER AND THE COMING OF SPRING BY BRINGING THE COMMUNITY TOGETHER.
