The Norwich Public Library vigorously nurtures a love of reading and the pursuit of life-long learning through its broad collections and dynamic activities honed to meet the needs and interests of the ever-changing community. A welcoming professional staff, assisted by dedicated volunteers, reaches out to engage all members of the community, thus making the library a sustainable and vibrant center for learning and the respectful exchange of ideas.

Norwich Public Library (NPL) provides a full range of library services to the residents of Norwich, VT. During the year ended June 30, 2020, the library had 2,442 patrons, each of whom had access to the Organization's lending library. In addition, NPL offered 213 programs to the community. These programs included storytimes, "1st Wednesdays", book discussions and travel talks and a variety of other programs. When COVID-19 forced the library to close to the public in March, we moved our programming online. In addition, the library also provides local groups with meeting rooms throughout the year.
