A K-8 independent school whose mission is to foster the skills, knowledge, personal attributes and work habits that enable children to thrive effectively, meaningfully, and joyfully in the world of today and tomorrow.
During Vermont Day School's fifth school year, enrollment grew to 65 students in grades K-8 (up from 52 students in our fourth year). We added an 8th grade to our program offerings to accommodate our growing student body. Our staff consisted of four full-time and part-time administrators and 12 full-time and part-time teachers. *** In November 2019, we started a construction project to add a 7,000 square foot addition onto our school building. This project was completed in July 2020.
