TO SERVE THE VETERANS OF AMERICA'S CONFLICTS & SUPPORT VARIOUS COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF AMERICA'S IDEALS
AMERICAN LEGION POST 71 ENABLES ITS MEMBERS TO CONTINUE SERVING GOD,COUNTRY, AND COMMUNITY. ITS MISSION IS TO IMPLEMENT THE GOALS, ASPIRATIONS,DREAMS, PEACE, AND BLESSING FOR OUR COUNTRY, FRIENDS,AND FAMILIES. THE AMERICAN LEGION IS A VETERANS ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO SERVE THE VETERANS, AMERICA'S CONFLICTS AND TO SUPPORT VARIOUS COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE REPRESENTATIVE OF AMERICA'S IDEALS. AT JACKSON PERKS POST 71 THERE ARE 5553 REGULAR MEMBERS, 220 AUXILLARY MEMBERS, 103 SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION. MONIES ARE GIVEN TO VARIOUS COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
