The Odd Fellows is a mutual benefit association that seeks to improve the human condition by promoting brotherly/sisterly love and harmony by banding together socially and performing duties to visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead and educate the orphan in order to build a better world.
Odd Fellowship's main purpose is a social organization dedicated to helping the sick, relieving the distressed, burying the dead and educating the orphan. We promote brotherly/sisterly love and harmony through social events.
We send checks to the widows of members that have passed away. Although it is only 20 dollars, it is also a card and a reminder that they are not forgotten.
A wheel chair ramp was constructed.
If a member or their spouse dies there is a small death benefit paid of 500 or 300 dollars. Record keeping and office expenses associated with maintaining the lodge's records.
