Medicaid provides funds to assist elderly and low income citizens to remain independent by providing custodial and basic medical needs to the person in their home. Provided 435,715 Personal Care units, 439,828 Homemaker units, and 20,658 Traumatic Brain Injury units.
Title III Program provides social services and nutritional services to senior citizens funds through a mixture of federal and state grants as well as program income. Provided 7,400 congregate meals, 28,502 home delivered meals, 1,231.5 units of in-home respite, and 3,670 units of transportation.
The Lighthouse program provides in-home assistance for seniors who do not qualify for other programs. The Fair program provides relief to caregivers who care for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Provided 13,312 units of Lighthouse and 2,915 units of Fair.
