The Hospital provided 13,612 inpatient days of care as follows 2,606 acute intensive care, 9,352 skilled nursing/long-term care, 477 critical care, and 1,177 observation care. Other services provided include 10,301 outpatient procedures and 8,542 emergency room visits. The Hospital provides care to patients who meet certain criteria under its charity care policy without charge or at amounts less than its established rates. Charges foregone for charity during the year amounted to 397,094 for hospital services.
