PRE KINDERGARTEN AND PUBLIC PROGRAMMING FOR TETON COUNTY RESIDENTS AND VISITORS: With over 15,000 collective visits to the Museum annually, we provide a physical space with interactive exhibits and provocations for children and their caregivers to play and learn. Our patron programs (3-4 times weekly) offer opportunities to explore through creative and tactile experiences. Preschool program partnerships for underserved populations encourage skill development necessary for kindergarten success.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS:We partner with Teton County School District #1 to offer integrated STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) programming for all K-5th grade students, approximately 1,500/year. Designed in collaboration with classroom teachers, these exploratory programs directly support the current curricular units in the classroom.
AFTERSCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS: We offer a variety of afterschool and summer programming for children in K-5th grade, directly supporting the growing community need for enriching out-of-school programming. Our thematic programs engage children in aspects of arts, sciences, literature and design and encourage creativity and independent-thinking. We serve approximately 200 working families through these offerings.
