Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE MISSION OF THE JACKSON HOLE SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND MATH FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, HIGH INTEREST EXPERIENCES IN MATH, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION IN TETON COUNTY, WYOMING. THE PURPOSE OF THESE EXPERIENCES IS TO INCREASE INTEREST IN MATH/SCIENCE/TECHNOLOGY CAREERS AND TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR EXCELLENCE IN POST-HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION.
THE ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS MADE UP OF CITIZENS, EDUCATORS AND PROFESSIONALS, IS DEDICATED TO EXPANDING THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS HAVE IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATH. JACKSON HOLE STEM FOUNDATION HAS PROVIDED FUNDING TO TETON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR ROBOTICS AND PROJECT LEAD THE WAY. THE PROGRAM WAS MERGED INTO THE TETON COUNTY EDUCATION FOUNDATION IN FEBRUARY 2014.
