THE BURROWING OWL PROJECT IS A PROTOTYPE PROGRAM TO RESCUE AND RELOCATE RESIDENT BURROWING OWLS FROM AREAS BEING DEVELOPED. APPROXIMATELY 4,500 BURROWS HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED THROUGHOUT ARIZONA AND MORE THAN 2,000 BURROWING OWLS HAVE BEEN RELOCATED.
THE PYGMY OWL PROJECT IS A BREEDING PROGRAM TO PROMOTE THE SURVIVAL OF THE SPECIES.
