Yavapai Regional Transit exists solely for the purpose of providing public transit services in the Tri-City area of Central Yavapai County in North Central Arizona. Over a nine year period, YRT has evolved from a dedicated senior center transportation program in a rural community to a public transit service connecting that community with two other more urban population centers, creating access to shopping, medical appointments, governmental services, education, employment, and recreation.
