Organizations Filed Purposes: To provide an uplifting place where parents and families can receive support regarding caring for a child or adult with Down syndrome. Sharing will provide educational programs to promote best practices that will enhance developmental, emotional and educational growth for their child.

Parent and Family Support - Provided personal home and hospital visits by trained parent leader to provide positive emotional support, provided advocacy at individual education program meetings, and conducted various social gatherings for families who have children with Down Syndrome providing encouragement and support. Conducted monthly meetings offered in English and Spanish at different locations within Arizona to bring parents of children who have Down Syndrome together, to educate and empower them. Provided financial assistance to families in need, and provided assistance to facilitate the adoption of children with Down Syndrome. The Organization received contributed services valued at $24,191 and contributed facilities valued at $16,115 in connection with this program that are not included in program expenses.

New Parent Packet - Providing parents of children who are diagnosed with Down Syndrome with books, music, video, and literature that is educational and uplifting. The information is delivered to the parents at the hospital after the birth of their child with Down Syndrome.
