WE DO THIS BY WORKING WITH THE WHOLE KID. NOT JUST THROUGH SPORTS, NOT JUST THROUGH EDUCATION, NOT JUST THROUGH MENTORING, NOT JUST THROUGH JOB TRAINING, BUT, A PROGRAM THAT BREAKS DOWN THE WALLS IN ALL OF THESE DIMENSIONS OF AN AT-RISK YOUTH'S LIFE.
HEART FOR THE CITY IS COMMITTED TO THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING OF THE CHILDREN AND POOR FAMILIES OF THE INNER CITY COMMUNITIES. SPECIAL EMPHASIS IS PLACED ON LOW-INCOME NEIGHBORHOODS OF GLENDALE BY CREATING INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO THE DIFFICULT SOCIAL PROBLEMS THAT POOR FAMILIES FACE DAILY.
