Organizations Filed Purposes: The Arizona Broadcasters Association acts as the official trade association for Arizona's over-the-air radio and TV stations. As priority #1, the ABA promotes and protect the limitless possibilities of Arizona's free, over-the-air broadcasting industry. The ABA advocates for favorable economic and regulatory conditions, offers training resources that can build current businesses stronger, invests deeply in projects to help futureproof Arizona broadcasting, and prioritizes community and government partnerships to advance the common interests of building a better state.

Sponsored booth fees for member stations at 4 major university job fairs (1 at ASU, 2 at UArizona, 1 at NAU) with over 500 job-seekers at each fair. Hosted career fair at East Valley Institute of Technology in May, 52 stations participated representing 12 companies, 76 job seekers attendedEnrolled 62 radio stations and 11 TV stations in the Alternative Broadcast Inspection ProgramHosted 16 webinars in 2019 with 85 total participantsHosted an Emergency Alert System summit on April 24 with 48 total participantsHosted an Active Shooter Training on Dec. 4 with 48 total participantsProduced the localism survey and results to show impact of Arizona Broadcasters in the community which was used in advocacy efforts with Arizona's Congressional delegationSupported ABA website career page which was available to all members to post their open jobs. In 2019, over 200 jobs were posted.Provided access to P1 Learning Training courses with over 400 active users for the year, along with the P1 Plus New Hire Sales program which provided media sales on-boarding for 8 new hires at ABA member stations. (2 every quarter)Hosted the Broadcasters Scholarship Classic golf fundraiser which raised $10,580 for our scholarship fund Hosted the Future and Awards Lunch fundraiser in September which raised $8,652 for scholarships to students at ASU, NAUSent weekly emails outlining Association news, events and industry trends
