GRANTMAKER EDUCATION NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES - IN 2019, ARIZONA GRANTMAKERS WELCOMED 13 NEW - MEMBERS, BRINGING THE GROWING STATEWIDE NETWORK TO 78 PHILANTHROPIC ORGANIZATIONS AND CORPORATIONS. ARIZONA GRANTMAKERS HELD MORE THAN 80 EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, COMMITTEE MEETINGS, AFFINITY GROUP MEETINGS AND NETWORKING EVENTS AND ACHIEVED A 4.7 OUT OF 5 OVERALL MEMBER SATISFACTION RATING. MEMBERS UNDERSTANDING BEFORE AND AFTER PROGRAMS INCREASED FROM 3.4 TO 4.4 OUT OF 5. THE SOUTHERN ARIZONA NETWORK INCREASED SOUTHERN ARIZONA MEMBERSHIP BY 70.

ADVOCACY PUBLIC POLICY - WITH THE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP GRANT FROM THE SEATTLE-BASED SATTERBERG FOUNDATION, ARIZONA GRANTMAKERS LAUNCHED THE ARIZONA TOGETHER FOR IMPACT FUND - A FUNDER COLLABORATIVE TO SUPPORT ARIZONA NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS INTERESTED IN EXPLORING THE FULL RANGE OF ENDURING COLLABORATIONS. ARIZONA GRANTMAKERS CONDUCTED RESEARCH AND OUTREACH NEEDED TO ESTABLISH THE SECOND SATTERBERG-SUPPORTED COLLABORATIVE FUND FOCUSED ON ADVANCING SOCIAL EQUITY IN ARIZONA AND INVESTED SATTERBERG GRANT FUNDS IN A BRAND REFRESH TO BETTER COMMUNICATE MEMBER VALUE AND ENABLE US TO SERVE AS A POWERFUL VOICE FOR ARIZONA PHILANTHROPY. THE FIRST ANNUAL STATEWIDE SURVEY OF 400 LIKELY VOTERS TO EXPLORE THEIR SUPPORT FOR HIGH-QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN FROM BIRTH TO FIVE YEARS OLD WAS LAUNCHED THROUGH THE BORN TO LEARN AZ INITIATIVE UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE ARIZONA EARLY CHILDHOOD FUNDERS COLLABORATIVE.
