CASS SINGLE AUDLT SHLETER PROVIDES SHELTER AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SINGLE ADULTS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. SERVICES INCLUDE ACCESS TO CASE MANAGEMENT, BEDS, SHOWERS, FOOD, CLOTHING, AND HYGIENE ITEMS- ALL AT NO COST TO RECIPIENTS. LAST FISCAL YEAR, CASS PROVIDED 160,743 NIGHTS OF SHELTER TO 3,919 UNDUPLICATED MEN AND WOMEN. CASS ALSO HAD BEDS SET ASIDE FOR ELIGIBLE VETERANS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS THROUGH THE VERTERS GRANT PER DIEM PROGRAM. THROUGH THE PROGRAM, CASS PROVIDED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS OF LODING TO 301 VETERANS EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS. IN ADDITION TO THE DESIGNATED BEDS, CASS PROVIDED CASE MANAGEMENT TO ALL PARTICIPATING VETERANS AND COORDINTED SERVICES WITH THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION ALL SINGLE ADULTS HAVE ACCESS TO CASS PROGRESSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES DESIGNED TO ENGAGE INDIVIDUALS IN ORDER TO EMPOWER THEM TO END THEIR HOMELESSNESS. OTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE INCLUDED RAPID REHOUSING SERVICES, RENT AND UTILITY DEPOSIT ASSISTANCE, HELP PAYING BILLS ARREARS, AND EASY ACCESS TO OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY ON-CAMPUS PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS.

CASS PROVIDES SHELTER AND SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO FAMILIES EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS THROUGH THE VISTA COLINA FAMILY SHELTER. SERVICES INCLUDE CASE MANAGEMENT, ACCESS TO BEDS, SHOWERS, FOOD, CLOTHING AND HYGIENCE ITEMS. LAST FISCAL YEAR, VISTA COLINA PROVIDED 35,460 NIGHTS OF SHELTER TO 528 UNDUPLICATED FAMILY MEMBERS OF 133 FAMILIES. VISTA COLINA ASSISTS FAMILIES IN ENDING THEIR HOMELESSNESS AND REGAINING THEIR SELF-SUFFICIENCY. VISTA COLINA ALSO PROVIDES AN ACCREDITED 5-STAR CHILDCARE PROGRAM TO ENSURE THAT PRE-SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN MEET OR EXCEED DEVELOPMENTAL GOALS AND TO ENABLE PARTENT TO FOCUS ON THEIR FAMILY HOUSING GOALS.

CASS PROVIDES HOUSING PLACEMENT SERVICES, INCLUDING RAPID PRE-HOUSING, FOR PEOPLE EXPERIENCING HOMELESSNESS: SINGLE ADULTS AND FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. LAST FISCAL YEAR, CASS PROVIDED 494 MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN (COMPROMISED OF 332 SINGLE ADULTS AND 45 FAMILIES) WITH RAPID PRE-HOUSING SERVICES, INCLUDING RENT, DEPOSITS FOR RENT AND ULILITIES, PAYING BILLS IN ARREARS, AND ONGOING HOUSING-BASED CASE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT. OF THE TOTAL SERVED, 254 INDIVIDUALS WERE DISABLES, 56 WERE AGED 62 OR OLDER, AND 20 WERE VETERANS.
