Support small farms and other businesses, and bring sustainable healthy products to an urban community.
We continuted to grow our weekly farmer's market,expanding to include nearly 150 vendors. Thanks to the success of the market, we were able to maintain our fee reduction for local growers, providing them an additional $22,112 in funding. Our Double Up food program provided $9,943 to low income families, and we assisted over 3,000 WIC participants.
We hosted our 10th annual two-night Phoestivus holiday market, which included over 200 local vendors and saw attendance of over 10,000 people.
