INDIGO CULTURAL CENTER IS COMMITTED TO THE STUDY OF CULTURE, THE ENACTMENT OF CULTURE, THE CELEBRATION OF CULTURE, AND USING THE STRENGTH IN ONES CULTURE TO PROMOTE SOCIAL JUSTICE AND RACIAL EQUITY.
OUR ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH SEVERAL GOVERNMENT, COMMUNITY-BASED, AND NATIONAL CLIENTS TO CONDUCT TRAININGS AND EVALUATIONS AS WELL AS PROMOTING AWARENESS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FOR LOW-INCOME CHILDREN OF COLOR. WE ALSO HOSTED AN EVENT CELEBRATING THE HISTORY AND LOCAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE AFRICAN-AMERICAN COMMUNITY. OUR EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CONDUCTED TRAININGS, WORKSHOPS, AND KEYNOTE SPEECHES THROUGHOUT ARIZONA AND THE NATION TO PROMOTE RACIAL EQUITY IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION.
