Organizations Filed Purposes:
Provide a resource and day shelter to homeless seniors over the age of 55. Work to place homeless seniors in housing and provide follow-up assistance once in housing.
Delivered Services to an average of 125 Homeless Senior Citizens a day over the age of 55.Placed 272 Seniors into some form of housing arrangement removing them off the streets. 21% are Veterans and 27% are Women. Examples: Apartments, Reuniting with Family Members, Hospice, etc. Once placed into housing, continued follow-up services through the Extended Care Program at Justa. This program is there to support Seniors to remain in Housing. Made 3,772 Extended Care calls during the year, placed 3,964 Food Boxes for Extended Care Seniors in housing, and did 1,522 Wellness Activities1,150 Volunteers have provided 9,646 hours to help seniors get off the streets into housing. Helped Seniors obtain their individual documents i.e. Birth Certificates, Marriage Licenses, Drivers Licenses, etc.. Estimated over 500 documents obtained for Seniors
