RECOVERY INNOVATIONS, INC. INCORPORATED IN THE STATE OF ARIZONA IN DEC. 2006 (CONT'D ON SCH O) AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, HAS CREATED A NEW PARADIGM OF DELIVERING BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES THAT FOCUSES ON WELLNESS RATHER THAN THE TRADITIONAL ILLNESS-BASED APPROACH. THROUGH ITS LOCAL NON-PROFIT CORPORATIONS, RECOVERY INNOVATIONS OFFERS A RANGE OF SERVICES IN FOUR PRIMARY AREAS; CRISIS, HEALTH, RECOVERY AND CONSULTING. RECOVERY INNOVATIONS OPERATES RECOVERY-BASED MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES IN FIVE STATES AND NEW ZEALAND AND HAS PROVIDED RECOVERY TRAINING AND TRANSFORMATION CONSULTATION IN 27 STATES AND FIVE COUNTRIES ABROAD. OUR MISSION IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE TO RECOVER, SUCCEED IN ACCOMPLISHING THEIR GOALS, FIND MEANING AND PURPOSE IN LIFE, AND RECONNECT WITH THEMSELVES AND OTHERS. OUR VISION IS TO ACTIVATE THE NEXT GENERATION OF FRAME-BREAKING HEALTHCARE INNOVATION TO SUPPORT PEOPLE BEYOND THEIR BEHAVIORAL HEALTH NEEDS AND SUCCEED IN THE COMMUNITY WHERE THEY LIVE, WORK, AND PLAY.
HEALTH: RI'S OUTPATIENT SERVICES INCLUDE HOUSING, COMMUNITY BUILDING, RECOVERY EDUCATION, AND SEVERAL TRANSITION MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS; AN AREA OF GREAT STRENGTH FOR RI. OUR PROGRAMS ARE FOCUSED ON INCREASING EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES, AS WELL AS ASSISTING WITH SHORT AND LONGER-TERM HOUSING TO HELP EASE OUR PARTICIPANTS' INTEGRATION WHILE TRANSITIONING BACK INTO THE COMMUNITY.
CRISIS: RI'S CRISIS SERVICES INCLUDE RECOVERY RESPONSE CENTERS (CRISIS STABILIZATION PROGRAMS), EVALUATION & TREATMENT (INVOLUNTARY & COURT ORDERED TREATMENT), AND RESPITES. OUR PROGRAMS FOCUS ON CREATING "LIVING ROOM" TYPE OF ENVIRONMENTS IN WHICH EACH PERSON IS TREATED WITH RESPECT, COMPASSION, AND DIGNITY. OUR CRISIS PROGRAMS ENSURE SAFETY WHILE PROVIDING THE BEST CLINICAL AND MEDICAL TREATMENT SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THOSE EXPERIENCING A BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CRISIS. THESE SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE 24 HOURS A DAY, 7 DAYS A WEEK AND SERVE ALL REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.
RECOVERY: RI'S RECOVERY SERVICE INCLUDES WELLNESS CITIES CENTERS PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP PEER SUPPORT, PHYSICAL FITNESS GYMS, AND EDUCATION AND SOCIALIZATION PROGRAMS. PEER BRIDGER/NAVIGATOR OPPORTUNITIES ARE ALSO PROVIDED TO ENSURE SUCCESSFUL COMMUNITY TRANSITION OF OUR PARTICIPANTS (DIVERTING FROM INPATIENT HOSPITALIZATION AND RE ADMISSION). THE RI MODEL HAS HAD A GLOBAL IMPACT ON THE MENTAL HEALTH FIELD SERVING AS A DEMONSTRATION THAT RECOVERY FROM MENTAL HEALTH ILLNESS AND/OR ADDICTION IS POSSIBLE, USING PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES THAT CREATE RECOVERY OPPORTUNITIES RI OFFERS. WE ARE PLACING AN EMPHASIS ON DEMONSTRATING MEASURABLY BOTH THE RECOVERY AND COST SAVINGS BENEFITS OF THESE PROGRAMS.
