Organizations Filed Purposes: TO PROTECT AND IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN OUR COMMUNITIES THROUGH COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS, COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS AND FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY EDUCATION.

PROVIDE COMMUNITY BASED PROGRAMS INCLUDING CPR CLASSES, CHILD HEALTH CLASSES AND OTHER COMMUNITY DIRECTED EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. PROVIDES FUNDS FOR PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES WHOSE HOMES HAVE BURNED, CANCER VICTIMS, RETIRED AND INJURED FIRE FIGHTERS. FIREFIGHTER SAVE R KIDS - PROVIDES FUNDS TO TRAIN PEOPLE IN FIRE AND LIFE SAFETY. INCLUDES PROGRAMS ON DROWNING, ACCIDENTAL POISONING, BABYSITTING, DESERT SAFETY AND PEDESTRIAN/BICYCLE SAFETY.WATER DRIVES AND HOLIDAY DRIVES- EVERY SPRING FIREFIGHTERS FROM UNITED PHOENIX FIREFIGHTERS HIT THE STREETS FOR MULTIPLE EVENTS TO COLLECT WATER FOR THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY WHO NEED IT. AS WE KNOW SUMMERS HERE IN PHOENIX AREA ARE BRUTALLY HOT AND CAN BE DEADLY IF YOU ARE NOT PREPARED. WE WORK WITH ORGANIZATIONS THAT HELP KIDS AND OUR HOMELESS POPULATIONS TO DISTRIBUTE THE WATER ALL SUMMER LONG.FIRESTRONG, A 24/7 FIREFIGHTER, FAMILY CRISIS AND SUPPORT HELP LINE IS NOW AVAILABLE TO LOCAL DEPARTMENTS AS WELL AS OTHER FIRE DEPARTMENTS ON A SUBSCRIPTION BASIS.

COMMUNITY SERVICES - PROVIDES FUNDS FOR SPECIAL PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND FUNDS FOR ORGANIZATIONS WHICH PROVIDE PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN. ALSO FUNDS OTHER COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATIONS WHICH PROVIDE CHARITABLE PROGRAMS FOR THE PUBLIC.

THE ARIZONA FALLEN FIREFIGHTERS & EMERGENCY PARAMEDICS MEMORIAL WAS COMPLETED AND DEDICATED IN OCTOBER 2015 AT THE EASTERN EDGE OF WESLEY BOLIN PLAZA AS APPROVED BY THE STATE LEGISLATURE IN HB2136.WHEN THE BILL WAS PASSED, THE PRIOR 113 YEARS SAW 119 FIREFIGHTERS & PARAMEDICS LOSE THEIR LIVES IN THE LINE OF DUTY. NO STATEWIDE MEMORIAL PREVIOUSLY EXISTED. FORTY OTHER STATES HAD SUCH STATEWIDE MEMORIALS. RECENT LOSSES INCLUDE FIREFIGHTERS, PARAMEDICS, FOREST SERVICE PERSONNEL AND OTHERS, ALL DEDICATED TO PROTECTING ARIZONA CITIZENS FROM FIRE, FLOOD AND ACCIDENTS. THE ARIZONA FIREFIGHTERS & EMERGENCY PARAMEDICS MEMORIAL IS A LIVING MEMORIAL HONORING EARLY DEATHS AND, SADLY ENOUGH, PREPARING FOR CONTINUOUS GROWTH.OPEN SPACE IS INTEGRAL TO THE SITE, ALLOWING FAMILIES, INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS TO HAVE A QUIET MOMENT, TO SIT AND REMEMBER AND TO LEARN ABOUT THESE HEROES.
