Our mission is to assist formerly homeless veterans transitioning to permanent housing under the Veterans Administration's HUD-VASH program by providing them, free of charge, the new furniture and household goods they need to make their apartment a home and successfully transition back to society.

In 2020, the Veterans Furniture Center (VFC) collected and purchased furniture and household goods to outfit the apartments of 172 formerly homeless Veterans as they transitioned from homelessness. The information of eligible Veterans were supplied by the Veterans Administration. Deliveries were made every Friday in 2020 with the help of 20 individuals, veterans, active duty military and civilian volunteers. The Veterans Furniture Center spent $107,340 on new furniture and household goods in 2020 to ensure these Veterans' apartments were livable.
