The TransformED of AZ program provides targeted skills training 1:1 within the state of AZ. Through 2020 we worked with 130 individuals seeking targeted skills training for academic improvement, amelioration of mental health symptoms, and development of job skills. Of those with pre- and post-intervention assessments, the average overall improvement of individuals targeted skills was 133%.
The Cognitive Function Development Institute was started in April of 2020. In 2020, the CFDI developed Cognitive Function Development Therapy as cost-effective, highly efficacious targeted skills training modality based on a broad synthesis of neuroscience, somatic experience therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy; produced a written training curriculum with various supplimental materials to train individuals in the therapeutic modality and certify as associate cognitive function development therapists; built a cloud-based technology infrastructure to support therapists work in the field with clients; established cognitive function development as an adjunct or stand-alone therapeutic modality within a regional mental health care clinic and the state vocational rehab system; trained and certified 5 individuals in the therapeutic modality as articulated in the aforementioned model.
TransformED of MN provides targeted skills development on a 1:1 basis to individuals located in Minnesota. 2020 operation were severely impacted by COVID-19, resulting in serving only 5 individuals through the year.
