Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide financial, volunteer, and other support to the Prescott Historical Society, an Arizona State Agency, in its operation of the Sharlot Hall Museum.
During the fiscal year the Society commenced construction of a 10,000 square foot Education Center which, once completed, will greatly expand the Museums capacity for educational programming, and will enable the Museum to use the space currently used for educational purpose to expand its exhibit program as well. The Museums changing exhibit gallery continued to present an exhibit recognizing the 100th anniversary of Americas involvement in WWI. In early 2019, that exhibit was replaced with one featuring Willard Page, an itinerant southwest landscape artist. The Museum also accomplished several capital improvements to its infrastructure, including the replacement and upgrading of air conditioning and heat pumps in its Lawler Exhibit Center.
