Non-medical senior support services to area residents
Care Management program: Advocacy, Assessment during hospital/rehabilitation stay, Transitioning home, Referrals for area services, Medical Equipment Lending Closet, Medication Management and Wound Care Assistance in accordance with doctor instructions.In response to COVID-19 pandemic, Organization website was modified to provide a one stop information service with: Statistics on National, State, County and ZIP Code 85263 COVID cases and hospitalizations, links to Arizona Department of Health Services and CDC websites, information for travel safety. Organization constructed a cache of difficult to find items, toilet paper, paper towels, hand sanitizer, plastic gloves, and face masks for community distribution. The organization operated a drive through handmade mask distribution program in the early pandemic months. Starting late in 2020 the organization began an effort to create a drive through vaccine distribution for our served community; and much more.
Meals program: delivery of periodic meals,delivery of meals during difficult times.
Transportation Program: Transporting seniors and thoserecovering from surgery to medical appointments.Grocery/medication shopping/pickup,hygiene appointments.
