The West Valley Arts Council enriches the West Valley by growing a vibrant and connected arts and cultural community.
In fiscal year 2020, West Valley Arts Council coordinated 16 professional development workshops for arts and music teachers, which impacted over 20 West Valley elementary schools and their students. We produced 3 performing arts programs for over 1,000 4th grade students to experience opera, African drumming, Native American dance, and classical music. Our Arts HQ Gallery coordinated 4 exhibits featuring local artists, 3 workshops, and 4 guest artist lectures. The gallery also serves as a black box space and we presented 4 lunchtime theater programs and evening concerts.
