Community Awareness Resource Entity of Arizona is a community organization dedicated to reducing the harmful effects of substance use disorder through prevention, treatment, and recovery.
The Rural Community Opioid Response Program's purpose is to bring Substance Use Disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery resources to the rural communities we serve. Through the program, CareAz has opened a Resource Center for individuals and families, developed the warm hand off initiative for individuals leaving the justice system, and implemented a ride program to ensure that individuals with Substance Use Disorder have access to detox, treatment, and other essential services.
