Organizations Filed Purposes:
THE MISSION OF THE TUBAC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE IS TO ENGAGE IN ALL ACTIVITIES RELATING TO THE PERPETUATION, PRESERVATION AND PROMOTION OF TUBAC AND ITS BUSINESS. PARTICULAR ATTENTION SHALL BE GIVEN TO THE ECONOMIC, CIVIC, COMMERCIAL, CULTURAL AND LOCAL HISTORIAL INTERESTS.
61ST ANNUAL TUBAC FESTIVAL: FIVE DAY EVENT HELD IN FEBRUARY. APPROXIMATELY 23,000 VISITORS - FREE ADMISSION. (FYI, LAST YEARS 50K WAS WAY OVERSTATED). EVENT INCLUDED 185 ARTIST BOOTHS AND 10 FOOD TRUCKS. IN ADDITION TO DRIVING MORE REVENUE TO THE CHAMBER, THE EVENT ALSO RAISED $23,000 FOR LOCAL NON-PROFITS FROM PAID PARKING FEES. FALL FESTIVAL - THREE DAY EVENT HELD IN NOVEMBER. APPROXIMATELY 7,000 VISITORS - FREE ADMISSION. EVENT INCLUDED 75 ARTISTS BOOTHS AND 7 FOOD TRUCKS. SEVERAL THOUSAND DOLLARS RAISED FOR NON-PROFITS FROM PAID PARKING.
SEVERAL SMALLER EVENTS TOOK PLACE IN THE LAST QUARTER OF 2019. WADE HAYES CONCERT, BBQ AND BREWS FESTIVAL AND LUMINARIA NIGHTS. ALL EVENTS WERE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR NO COST. ALL LOCAL SHOPS AND RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN. THESE EVENTS ARE PRIMARILY FINANCIALLY BREAK EVEN THAT HIGHLIGHT OUR LOCAL COMMERCE IN PREPARATION FOR THE HOLIDAYS.
