4TUCSON IS A LEADING NONPROFIT IN THE FIELD OF DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION OF A BIBLICAL CITY TRANSFORMATION MODEL BEING IMPLEMENTED TO HELP THE PEOPLE OF TUCSON, AZ. BUT, THE GOAL IS TO DEVELOP THIS MODEL SO THAT IT IS TRANSFERABLE TO ANY CITY IN THE US AND MANY AROUND THE WORLD.

THE PURPOSE OF THE EDUCATION DOMAIN IS TO UNITE THE COMMUNITY AROUND LOCAL SCHOOLS BY SUPPORTING STUDENTS IN THEIR SOCIAL, INTELLECTUAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT IN ORDER TO PREPARE THEM FOR A LIFE TIME OF SUCCESS. IN 2019, TEACHING CHILDREN AND TEENAGERS HOW TO HELP SOLVE. HUNGER AND BRING HOPE WITH THEIR TWO HANDS. TWENTY-THREE SCHOOLS, FOUR DISTRICTS; AND FIVE. CHURCHES BROUGHT 1,400 STUDENTS AND LEADERS TO HELP PACK OVER 287,000 MEALS. IN NOVEMBER 2019, THE 4TUCSON EDUCATION DOMAIN, AND THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE OF YOUTH FAITH AND FAMILY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH FIVE ADDITIONAL STATE AND COMMUNITY AGENCIES HOSTED THE FIRST CHRISTIAN LEAD CONFERENCE IN TUCSON ON TRAUMA AND THE FAITH COMMUNITY, THE GOAL OF THE CONFERENCE IS TO BRING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF TRAUMA'S EFFECTS ON BRAIN DEVELOPMENT, A PERSON'S VIEW OF THE WORLD, AND THEIR ABILITY TO FORM HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS.

THE PURPOSE OF THE POVERTY REDUCTION TASKFORCE IS TO BUILD CAPACITY TO CREATE HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS BY LEVERAGING THE POWER OF GOD AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO LIFT THEMSELVES OUT OF POVERTY. SUMMER OF 2019 4TUCS0N HIRED A POVERTY REDUCTION TASK FORCE DIRECTOR. 4TUCSON'S 2020 INITIATIVE ON POVERTY REDUCTION WAS LAUNCHED THROUGH A MOVEMENT DAY EXPRESSION IN OUR CITY. WE BROUGHT TOGETHER 18 NON PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WORKING IN THE AREA OF DIRECT SERVICES TO THE POOR. 4TUCSON ELEVATED THE NEED FOR LEADERS TO COME TOGETHER TO REDUCING POVERTY IN OUR CITY. WE CONVENED LEADERS TO NETWORK, COLLABORATE, AND DEVELOP A PICTURE OF WHAT A CONTINUUM OF TRANSFORMATIONAL CARE WOULD LOOK LIKE IN REDUCING POVERTY. FINALLY, OUR GOAL WAS TO CHALLENGE LEADERS TO MOVE INTO ACTION TO DEVELOP TRANSFORMATIONAL CHANGE PRACTICES. 4TUCSON'S POVERTY REDUCTION TASKFORCE WILL RECONVENE LEADERS THROUGHOUT 2020 FOR TRAINING, DATA COLLECTING, AND MONITORING PROGRESS. 4TUCSON IS WORKING WITH OTHER MOVEMENT DAY CITIES ON SIMILAR INITIATIVES, INCLUDING NEW YORK, CHARLOTTE, PHILADELPHIA, HONG KONG, DUBAI; SYDNEY, AND LONDON.

THE PURPOSE OF THE GOVERNMENT DOMAIN IS TO MOBILIZE CHRISTIANS TO CREATE A CULTURE OF COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT IN THE POLITICAL PROCESS IN OUR CITY, STATE, AND NATION. HUNDREDS OF PARENTS AND CONCERNED COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO OPPOSED TUCSON UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT'S NEW SEXUALITY EDUCATION PREVAILED WHEN THE BOARD DECIDED NOT TO VOTE ON THE PROPOSED CURRICULUM. 4TUCSON WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN GETTING PEOPLE TO SIGN THE PETITION, GIVE CURRICULUM FEEDBACK, CONTACT BOARD MEMBERS, AND ATTEND LONG SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS AND HEARINGS. 4TUCSON'S GOVERNMENT DOMAIN FACILITATED TWO BIPARTISAN JUSTICE REFORM FORUMS, INFORMING CHRISTIAN OF THE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE REFORM. 4TUCSON GOVERNMENT DOMAIN PARTNERED WITH A COALITION OF ORGANIZATIONS SPONSORED BY STATE REPRESENTATIVE BLACKMAN. THE COLLECTIVE EFFORTS SUCCESSFULLY PASSED AND SIGNED SB1310. THIS PIECE OF LEGISLATURE REDUCES PRISON SENTENCES BY 15% FOR FIRST-TIME OFFENDERS THROUGH EARNED RELEASE CREDITS.
