Organizations Filed Purposes:
During the fiscal year ending in June 2020, the organization continued to provide support for a number of individual researchers and organization. More than $5000 was donated to the Arizona State Museum library, including proceeds of book sales. $5000 was given to the University of Arizona Press and University Press of Colorado as subvention awards for publication of books. Through the Societys Orrell education program, more than $2500 was awarded to three schools for curriculum development. Support was also extended to the Desperation Ranch Archaeological Project, one of the Societys on-going sponsored projects. AAHS also continued its support of individual researchers through its Research and Scholarship grants, Travel grants, and student paper awards.
