OUTREACH and COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS:Once Upon a Time in Tucson, United Ways-Days of Caring;Pima County, US Fish & Wildlife and Arizona Game to allow Gila Top Minnow and Huachuca Water Umbel, two threatened species, to reside in our Acequia, Chicanos por la Causa/Summer Youth Professionals Program, Hosted Ha:San High School Winter Storytelling, Nighthawk Nursery to begin tree propagation; Collaboration with ASDM, Community Food Bank; UNESCO City of Gastronomy, Tucson Meet Yourself, Ironwood Tree Experience; Tucson Chinese Cultural Center, Native Seed/SEARCH, Las Milpitas, Himdag Ki Tohono Oodham Cultural Center, Watershed Management Group, University of Arizona, National Phenology Network, Iskashitaa Refugee NetworkGarden Rental and Poetry Events:Rentals for large birthday, honorary events, Wedding Party, Northern Jaguar Presentation, Borderlands Restoration Event, Poetry Readings, Concerts.GRANTS AND AWARDS:Generous grants from US Fish & Wildlife Partners, the Wild Turkey Foundation and the Southwestern Foundation for Education & Historic Preservation, Stonewall Foundation,Pima County.
