Restart SMART is an initiative to create a community school hub system in Tucson through a multi-generational framework. Community school systems have existed in the US for decades with proven results in community empowerment, lower chronic and situational poverty, lower dropout rates, higher attendance, higher rates of attainment for students, and healthier community economic metrics.In addition, Higher Ground is also in the middle of developing an app to deliver their high outcomes SEL methods straight to the hands of the youth.Higher Ground received $125,000 of donated rent from Tucson Unified School District (50,000 square feet @ $2.50 per square foot).
